Government to sponsor Islam

An article from 352, the English language newsmagazine in Luxembourg:

The government has decided that Islam meets all the requirements for the state
funding provided to other religious groups in Luxembourg. The funding will allow
Luxembourg's 10,000-strong Muslim community to build a Mosque and fund
administrative requirements. It will provide enough money needed for a Mufti,
who will oversee the religion for the whole country, a secretary and up to five
Imams.

Unfortunately this would send most Americans into a nervous twitter to hear that a government is funding Islam to such an extent. I happen to think it rocks.
